How do you travel to school?
• Star letter writer Kalum Pearson won a Monopoly Crazy Cash game in Issue 6 of Pocket Money I am saving for a new scooter. The one I want is a lot of money so Mum said if I save as much as I can she will put the rest towards it. I have opened a savings account and will start saving all the money I get because I really want it.
Thanks for your guide on how to make egg animals. My son had to take an egg, decorate it and look after it for a week for a sponsored challenge at school. Hope you like it. Isn't it cute!
Your article on how to create greetings cards was great. Making cards means you can save money and add personalised words and pictures – plus you can keep them afterwards in a photo frame! Here is a photo of my dog which I made into a Christmas card.
I had been saving my pennies in a pot, then my school decided to fill used water bottles with money for a campaign to help save the lives of children in Somalia who have suffered from the terrible drought. We raised the brilliant sum of £345.06! I feel good I saved the money, but even better to have helped other children.
I get £5 a week pocket money put electronically into my account. I only buy the things I really want like Pokémon. This means I don’t just waste it on sweets and I have saved up loads. If I had the £5 in my hand every week I would find it really hard to save.
My mum gives me all her loose change to save up so I can buy a really good toy every few months. I put the money in a pot which can't be opened until it's full. I am trying really hard and put in every penny I find!
