TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RBS POCKET MONEY COMPETITIONS AND PRIZE DRAWS

(a) The competitions and prize draws contained on the Pocket Money website are open to Pocket Money readers who are UK residents. Competitions and prize draws are not open to employees of John Brown Group or The Royal Bank of Scotland group of companies, their families or anyone associated with these competitions or prize draws.

(b) One entry per competition and/or prize draw per person. Entries must be submitted online at www.rbs-pocketmoney.co.uk and received online (or by post where indicated) by the relevant closing date. Entries are not returnable. They, and the copyright for them, become the property of the promoter.

(c) Entries not submitted in accordance with these rules, delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible will be disqualified. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in transit. Proof of completion online will not be accepted as proof of entry.

(d) For the Newsletter Sign-up (Moshi Monsters Gift Pack) Prize Draw, six winners will be drawn at random on 5 July 2012 from everyone who signed up to receive the Pocket Money email newsletter at www.rbs-pocketmoney.co.uk or sent their name and address to Newsletter Sign-up (Moshi Monsters Gift Pack) Prize Draw, Pocket Money, 136-142 Bramley Road, London W10 6SR between 1 April 2012 and 4 July 2012. The prize comprises one gift pack comprising: one 3-month Moshi Monsters membership card, three 3-day friendship membership cards to invite your friends into the game, one Moshi Monsters "IGGY" toy, collectible Moshi Monsters trading cards, one Moshi Monsters sticker pack, Moshi Monsters postcards, one exclusive Moshi Monsters in-game item and one Moshi Bandz pack. No purchase necessary. There are six prizes available to be won. The prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed. The prize is not transferable and no cash alternative is available. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

(e) Prize(s) for each competition will be awarded to the entrant who correctly answers the question and who, in the judge's opinion, writes the most apt and original tie-breaker. Each competition will have a separate judge. The competition prizes are as follows.

(i) Star Letter: The prize offered to the winner of the Star Letter is £200 worth of Halfords vouchers, to be used for any BMX bike worth up to £159.00 and the remainder £41 specifically for cycle accessories. The Star Letter will be chosen on 1 May 2012 from entries submitted between 1 October 2011 and 30 April 2012. The editor’s decision is final as to what is chosen as the Star Letter, and no correspondence will be entered into. Correspondence which is delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible will not be considered. Letters are not returnable. They, and the copyright for them, become the property of the publisher/promoter. Entries must be submitted to Pocket Money, 136-142 Bramley Road, London W10 6SR or www.rbs-pocketmoney.co.uk. By sending us correspondence, we will assume that you are happy for it to be published online – unless you specifically state otherwise.

(ii) 'The Hundred-Mile-An-Hour Dog Goes For Gold' book: Ten winners will each receive one paperback copy of the book. The competition closes on Friday 20 April 2012.

(iii) Crayola Oink Oink Piggy Bank: Eight winners will each receive one piggy bank kit. The competition closes on Friday 27 April 2012.

(iv) Odeon Cinemas gift card: Two winners will each receive one £25 gift card for use at participating Odeon cinemas. Odeon gift cards are accepted in all UK Odeon/ABC cinemas with the exception of the purchase of food and drink at "The Lounge". The competition closes on Friday 4 May 2012.

(v) LEGO City Bank & Money Transfer: One winner will receive a LEGO City Bank & Money Transfer set. The competition closes on Friday 11 May 2012.

(vi) Junior Scrabble: Two winners will each receive one Junior Scrabble board game. The competition closes on Friday 18 May 2012.

(vii) 'The Money, Stan, Big Lauren & Me' book: Eight winners will each receive a paperback copy of 'The Money, Stan, Big Lauren & Me' by Joanna Nadin. The competition closes on Friday 25 May 2012.

Prizes cannot be exchanged or redeemed. The prizes are not transferable and no cash alternative is available. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries must be submitted online at www.rbs-pocketmoney.co.uk and are not returnable.

(f) Winners will be informed by letter, phone or email within 14 days of the closing date. The winner’s name and county of residence will be available by telephoning 020 7565 3216.

(g) The winners agree to take part in publicity in connection with this competition and/or prize draw. This may include their name, age and county of residence in a future edition.

(h) If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the winners, the promoter will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it sees fit without any liability to the winners for having done so.

(i) The promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the promotion without prior notice.
